Last night I was fortunate enough to tape another segment with Stan Simpson for his show on Fox 61 in Hartford. We spoke about multiple topics, including the IRS' intense focus on those in Connecticut, New York and New Jersey with unreported foreign bank accounts.
We then talked about how it is possible to get "forgiveness of debt" income waived by the IRS, went through how difficult IRS Form 982 is to understand, and discussed how it may be a better idea to file bankruptcy to get rid of credit card debt.
