There has been a good deal of surprising positive news for beleaguered taxpayers. For those whose life has been made incredibly difficult by the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), the news from Belgium must warm their heart. A Belgium has largely negated FATCA and has set to stage for its removal from the European Union as Belgium ruled that FATCA contradicts the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
